Women, disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control The General Assembly, Recalling that the Charter of the United Nations reaffirms the equal rights of women and men, Recalling also its resolutions 65/69 of 8 December 2010, 67/48 of 3 December 2012, 68/33 of 5 December 2013, 69/61 of 2 December 2014, 71/56 of 5 December 2016, 73/46 of 5 December 2018 and 75/48 of 7 December 2020, Recalling further General Assembly and Security Council resolutions on the issue of women and peace and security, Recalling the Fourth World Conference on Women and the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, 1 Taking note of action 36 of the Agenda for Disarmament of the Secretary General, on the full and equal participation of women in decision -making processes, and action 37, on gender parity on disarmament bodies established by the Secretariat, Reaffirming the Sustainable Development Goals relevant to the promotion of women, disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control, and acknowledging that the success of efforts to achieve sustainable development and disarmament depends on the full and effective inclusion of women in all aspects of these efforts, Welcoming the call for the full, equal and meaningful participation of women in efforts to prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit transfer of small arms, pursuant to Security Council resolutions 2106 (2013) of 24 June 2013, 2117 (2013) of __________________ 1 22-28170 (E) Report of the Fourth World Conference on Women, Beijing, 4 –15 September 1995 (United Nations publication, Sales No. E.96.IV.13), chap.
