Note by the Secretariat
The Secretariat has the honour to transmit to the Human Rights Council the report of
the Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of association on
his mission to the United States of America from 11 to 27 July 2016. The purpose of the
visit was to assess the situation of the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and of
association in the country.
