Summary
The present report is submitted to the Human Rights Council by the Special
Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples pursuant to his mandate under Human Rights
Council Resolution 42/20.
In the report, the Special Rapporteur provides a thematic analysis of indigenous
women and the development, application, preservation and transmission of scientific and
technical knowledge.
* Agreement was reached to publish the present report after the standard publication date owing to
circumstances beyond the submitter’s control.
